The efficiency and COP (Coefficient of Performance) has been dramatically increased up to 4 on some models. This means the system can deliver 4kW of heating or cooling, whilst consuming only 1.0kW of electrical power. This has been achieved by combining advanced Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioning inverter technology with environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant. The improved air flow pattern through the unit and the new design high performance heat exchanger have resulted in a pressure loss reduction, allowing the fan design to be optimized for significantly lower sound levels.
