    The Ferrari F40 is :a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car that was produced from 1987 to 1992 

    Design

    The F40 was designed to celebrate Ferrari’s 40th anniversary and was the last car to be personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. It was designed by Nicola Materazzi and styled by Pininfarina.

    Performance

    The F40 was the fastest, most powerful, and most expensive car for sale at the time of its release. It had a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine that produced 471 horsepower and 426 lb-ft of torque. Ferrari claimed a top speed of 201 mph.

    Weight

    The F40 was lightweight, weighing around 3,000 pounds. It had ultra-lightweight cloth buckets for seats, a felt-wrapped dash, and pull-cords for door handles and armrests.

    Production

    The F40 was built in a limited run, with only 1,311 cars produced.

    Revival

    Ferrari is considering reviving the F40 as part of the Icona Series. The revived F40 is expected to be a limited-run production car and cost over $1.6 million
